We are presented with problems that we use our science and maths knowledge to solve. We will be using different types of wood, plastic card and paper and a range of hand and electric tools to create useful practical objects which answer a brief. This will hopefully build confidence and skill in problem solving and increase spatial awareness. We will also develop understanding of the properties of materials and their limits in use as well as increasing awareness of cultural and societal needs. All of this will be in a relaxed, safe environment with an emphasis on fun and nurturing an inquisitive mind.
