A small child is energetic and rapidly growing in competency. It is always a delight to see their potential unfolding. These early years see the children exploring reading, choosing their own playmates and discovering how to enjoy using the school and all it has to offer.
Curiosity and enquiry based learning are at the core of our teaching principles. Children are encouraged to develop learning skills as well as developing their knowledge of the world around them.
Throughout this year our pupils progress from a predominantly play based curriculum to more formal experiences in preparation for their transition to the next stage of their learning.
